Who is Jason?

I am a self-proclaimed jack-of-all-trades, and certainly not a master of any!  I am an unlicensed architect by day, a paramedic/firefighter by night, and a natural wanderer any time I can find a spare minute.  When my nose is not in a book or a magazine, I am often found hiding behind a camera, or sitting at the back of the crowd observing the drama of the world unfold in front of me.  I find great pleasure in learning new skills, or collecting hobbies as my friends call it. However it is defined, I enjoy it! This blog started as a way for friends and family to follow me as I planned, prepared for, and completed a 2015 Thru Hike of the Appalachian Trail.  While dormant since, I have revitalized the blog in hopes of capturing my ever revolving hobbies and adventures in life.
